What Happens When You Reach Your Limit?
If you reach your limit, new conversations are paused until your reset date or plan upgrade.
Chat Blocking Behavior
Once you hit your monthly conversation limit:
- The widget blocks new AI responses.
- Visitors receive a limit notification.
- Usage metadata is returned in the response.
No additional conversations are processed.
Existing past chat history remains visible based on your plan's chat history window.
Fallback Lead Form
If your plan includes fallback lead form:
Plan Restriction: Available on Basic, Standard and Enterprise only.
When enabled:
- Visitor reaches the limit.
- The widget displays the fallback lead form.
- Visitor submits contact details.
- Lead is stored in Leads.
This allows you to capture intent even after usage is exhausted.
Free plan does not include fallback lead form.
Upgrade Options
- To restore chat functionality immediately, upgrade your plan.
- Upgrading increases your conversation limit.
- The new limit applies to your current billing cycle.
- If upgrade flow is partially configured in your account, contact support for manual adjustment.
Important Notes
- Hitting the conversation limit does not delete existing conversations.
- Leads and Analytics remain accessible.
